Desperate Walker Won’t Answer Criminal Probe Questions; Resorts to Wild, Misleading Attacks

MILWAUKEE– Scott Walker has resorted to desperate smears in response to a bombshell report today linking him even closer to the John Doe corruption scandal and falling poll numbers with just one week left before he is ousted as Wisconsin’s governor.

“We learned today that Scott Walker may be the target of the criminal corruption probe, and his response is a sleazy attack against the brave men and women of Milwaukee law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day," said Barrett for Wisconsin Communications Director Phil Walzak. "Walker’s most recent flailing attacks reveal the depth of his desperation as polls released late last week show his narrow lead dwindling. Tom Barrett clearly has the momentum in the closing days of the race for governor, and Walker is desperate to stop it, so he is resorting to outrageous accusations and false attacks. Clearly, Walker is worried.”
