Really?! Walker Can't Tell Wisconsin if he Signed a Recall Petition?

MILWAUKEE - Barrett for Wisconsin released the following statement today from Communications Director Phil Walzak on a report Saturday that Gov. Scott Walker won't tell the people of Wisconsin if he personally signed recall petitions in 1997 against U.S.Sens Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold.

"Walker's refusal to answer the very simple question of did he or didn't he sign his name on a recall petition is yet another stunning example of why we can't trust this governor. He won't tell poeple why he has a criminal defesne fund. He won't release to the public thousands of emails about the John Doe criminal probe he claims he shared voluntarily with prosecutors. He won't disclose details of his national political travel, including which extreme, right-wing mega-donors he met with and what he promised them. And now he refuses to even answer the basic question of, did he sign a recall petition.

"What is this governor hiding, and why is he keeping so many secrets from the people of Wisconsin?"
